Mad Cow Disease took the lives of at least 200 people who died after eating the infected meat. As a result, beef from Britain was not allowed to be sold in other countries for many years.

I think the French government stop the British beef or cows to be sold.i think that he is afraid that it may be contaminated (Infected)disease.
Thanks to British framer Peter Stent. He notice his cows looking sick and behaving strangely.
Affected animals was drooling, arching its back, waving its head and acting aggressively.
The disease first emerged (Appeared)in 1984.
Affected animal wass drooling, arching its back, waving its head and acting aggressively.
It continue to spread to cows all over Britain because the animal were eating/feeded food that had been made from dead and diseased cows.Humans, too, may have eaten the meat of the sick cows.
Some people have fallen ill with a terrible desease that attacks the brain;some doctors think that it may linked to BSE (Bovine spongiform and encephalopathy),athough this has not yet been proven(shown to be true).
That was a bad news for British cattle framers, who have lost their best customers-the French-who spend hundreds of millions on British beef products.
As the fear about spread,more
and more people have stopped eating beef.
Other countries may also be planning to ban British beef.In Britih itself, many people have stopped eating it,even though the authorities are trying to assure them that it does not pose a health risk.
I think most people should belive the authorities.the desease is very harmful to people and animals.

I think that the british goverment are very evil. They purswaded people to eat their cow meat.
If i am one of them, i will choose not to eat thier cow meat too.
I think that the so called human mad cow disease is indeed very harmful as it has caused 165 people , 65 cats and also some cows which contracted the disease to eventually die of it...I pity all these living things...Especially elizabeth smith whom was innocent but died of the mad cow disease...
In my opinion , if there are more and more cows being infected with "mad cow " diesease, consumption of beef should be banned . As for the cows ,which are still alive , they should be first exmined if they have the diesease or not . If so, they should be separated from the others and kept away from people.
The British Government should not kill them, if so it means they are heartless to animals ..
Cows are living things too ....

Mad cow disease, or BSE,ended up killing hundreds of cows in Europe, including Britain, which was the country worst hit, and France.
In 1996, the british government finally admitted that there was a link betweem mad cow disease and people falling sick. There have been at least 200 confirmed cases of people dying after eating infected meat.
Britain was not allowed to sell its beef to other countries for many years, which drove many of its farmers out of business.
I think the beef should be banned because the 'mad cow' disease is spreading around cows and those eating cow would fall ill with a terrible disease that attacks the brain.
It was scary when people died or was ill because of the mad cow disease
it's a prion difeciancy, prions are special proteins in the brain. one something has the disease the proteins ity the brain don't fold right, so they don't function correctly, causing the brain to turn to mush.
