P5 Hope
An Austrian Olympic swimmer, Jakub Maly, while on a training stint in Florida, in the United States, decided to have some "fun". He dug a 2m-deep trench and then, for some fun, jumped into the trench. However, horrors of horrors, the sand collapsed over him and he was buried! It took 60 rescuers nearly two hours to pull him out of the man-made crater.
Jakub and his team mates were having fun on a day off when the incident happened. His team mates managed to clear the sand around his head but they could not get him out. After he was pulled out, earth-moving equipment had to be used to fill up the trench.
What do you think of this "fun" activitiy? Do you know of another "fun" activity that seems to be getting popular? How do you feel about this?

No, this is not a fun activity . The another"fun" activity is called placking .Even this activity had cause a citizen to die it is still very fun , and it may risk your life.(placking means lying flat on somthing)
I feel that he should not have jumped into the trench even though he is a olympic swimmer.
I think that it is rather dangerous for them to play this "fun" activity.
I think that this is very risky for our lifes. Another fun activity is badminton. I feel that this should not happen again as it is risking our lifes as if the rescuers could not save him in time he could have died.

I do not know any other "fun" sports but I feel that the man was very scared when he found out that he was in the man-made crater. After I read the story I felt scared too but the article was interesting.
I think this "fun" activity is real dangerous and I think they're real silly to have this kind of "fun" . I know , the another "fun" activity is like to lay on something and straighten your body . I think it is strange but it just get popular in a way that everybody follows .
1.i think its very dangerous to have this type of "fun"it could have cost him his life.
2. i am sure there is many other activities he could have enjoyed and have fun,instead of considering to do such a act.
3.He has a bright future ahead of him and this could have leaded to death if not for the brave efforts made by the rescue team.

Ithink that the fun activity is dangerous.Another "fun"activity that is getting popular is planking.I feel thhat it is extremely dangerous planking is known as playing dead as one person in Austrila of America died aready
I think this "fun" activity was extremely silly. Another fun activity that is getting popular is badminton, now many people play it during break around the school. I feel that the so called "fun" activity, turned out to be not so fun for Jakub Maly, as the sand collapsed over him!

I think that they wanted some 'fun' but their idea has gone too far.this 'fun'activity should not have take place as safty always comes first.
Another fun activity he can do is basket ball.
